Unlike traditional wave generators using a lot of energy hungry pumps, WOW wave generators use resonance to efficiently generate waves in your pool.  The majority of classical wave generators use pistons or fans are energy hungry, having to constantly push water throughout operation.  The Wave Ball applies intelligence in its operation for a more impressive result.  Wave resonance is managed and recycled by computer software along with pool configuration and environment changes to generate waves for your swimming pool efficiently and effectively.

The Wave Ball

Ideal for pool 100m² or greater, the Wave Ball is a floating sphere adorning your swimming pool that safely generates artificial swelling waves.  The Wave Ball can be set to generate different kinds of waves, from slow and relaxing waves to fast agitated waves, and with height up to about 1 meter high.

How Does It Work

A 12V DC motor drives up and down a moving mass along the vertical axis of the ball.  This motor and its control software are protected in the waterproof Wave Ball shell.  Through sensor signals, the control software is able to analyze ball movements and wave frequencies, amplitudes and other characteristics.  Very precise and clever adjustments of motor speed create different types of waves.

The Wave Ball's force on the water, inducted by the mass movement, initially creates the first wave which spreads through the pool.  Pool walls reflect this first wave back towards the ball.  The Wave Ball control unit is able to accurately determine the moment and the force to give to the next movement in order to amplify (or reduce) the waves.
