The overflowing is incompatible with waves. To place a waves machine and keep the water into the pool, we can : Reduce the water level or increase the edges level to allow the creation of waves. If we reduce the water level A minimum of 35cm between the « quiet » water level and the upper edge of the pool is essential. It’s required to reduce the water level to maximum in order to use all the potential of the Wave Ball. In that case, either we throw the water, or we put the water in a backup tank which will inject again the water after the waves session.   If we increase the freeboards level Another solution consists to raise the edges of the pool with walls in composite materials or in « tough », or in Plexiglas. Create a waves area with a sufficient freeboard. In that case, we isolate a pool area to make a waves area. How create a freeboard when it is inexistent or insufficient It’s impossible to place walls in composite materials to recreate a freeboard The height of the walls will be adapted according to the required freeboard. These walls are recovered with a nonslip covering and their width will allow swimmers to sit on it. They are equipped of holes on the pool side, which allow the water entry in the filtration system. How these walls are fixed ?  They are fixed with dowels in stainless steel, which watertightness of the fixation points is assured by a chemical anchorage. Can we remove them ? It’s not recommended to remove these walls because the assembling and the adjusting are made wall by wall. Each wall is thus supported by the previous one.   We can use the holes which allow us to screw the dowels inside the wall in order to insert the hose of the high pressure cleaner under the walls. See pdf document on the higher walls. It’s possible to place bulkheads in Plexiglas in order to recreate a freeboard. Such as the barriers equipped with stainless stakes and separated by panels in Plexiglas or in glass, these bulkheads correctly positioned in the prolongation of the wall and raised of 3mm maximum allow the continuation of filtration but give to the pool the essential freeboard to allow the development of the waves.
